"I believe we all have the answers we need within to guide us through life."
However, when life leaves us feeling overwhelmed and distraught, we can lose sight of our inner strength. With the support of therapy, you can make the changes you want in your life and restore your inner strength and peace.

When I work with children,
My goal is to help a child better manage whatever their struggle is while using family therapy and parent coaching to strengthen the parent/child relationship. Children express themselves and their inner world most easily through play and therefore that is what I use most frequently with children.

When I work with teens,
I find myself feeling amazed and in awe when working with teens. Teens are navigating growing up in very complicated times. At the end of the day, I find that teens want to be accepted and heard when making very difficult emotionally laden day to day decisions. I use CBT most often in helping teens and adults finding solutions that are healthy and beneficial to their life now and in the future.
-
Cognitive behavioral therapy, often referred to as CBT, is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on making connections between thoughts, behavior, and feelings.
-
CBT is often used with adolescents. It can be effective in treating a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse.
Adult Therapy
We all pass through difficult times in our life and need additional support, guidance or another perspective with difficult decision making. During this time we may also reach out to others to find resources, that can't find on our own. Though therapy, I will use multiple modalities to help you find strength and peace in your life again.

Special Needs
I first began my career working with family and children with special needs. I am forever changed by watching those parents find strength and courage they didn't know they had as they cared for child that came with such demands. That has led to a special passion I have today working with families with children who have developmental delays, Autism, ADHD. and other learning disabilities.
